More About Us
Science For Mankind was envisioned and founded by Albert Castillo. It is being
founded with the idea that our way of living can be "vastly" improved if we all get
together and work for common goals, towards common ends. The possibilities
are truly endless!
"Competition" has got us to where we are now. It has it's benefits and it's
downfalls. I think and hope we are ready for the next step in our evolution:
"Collaboration". A world where we all work together for the mutual benefits that
this new ideology and way of thinking can bring.
We already have present day proof that this works. GNU and the Free Software
Foundation (FSF) (founded in 1985 by Richard Stallman), Open Source,
SourceForge, FreeBSD, Linux, Open Source Hardware, OpenCores, and the many
other technologies that are stemming from these roots are proof of what we can
accomplish in a very short time, by working together. We are only starting to tap
our potential here!
How many of you are out there? If only we would all get together and pool our
minds and efforts, we can do absolutely amazing things. Money is not an inhibitor
here and corporate America and the rich are not to blame for the negative aspects
of our way of life. Quite often they don't have any more foresight into where
Mankind is headed than the rest of us. We simply need to start working together,
take ownership of our direction as a whole, and work together for common goals
instead of competing against each other. This is a better way! This can take us to
the next level of humanity. One in which the possibilities are endless!
The physical boundaries between countries and men are almost completely
removed and no longer separate us from each other. Let's see what we can
accomplish if we put our heads together and work as ONE.
